1. Editorial/Production/Promotion Intern
Location: part-time, onsite preferred, offsite is acceptable
About Experience in Software:
We develop and sell business productivity software to the SMB market primarily via our website, through resellers, and currently a very small percentage over the phone. Our customers range from Fortune 500 companies, to one person consultancies. The sectors we serve are also varied, and we have a decent portion of our sales from international customers.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Experience In Software seeks a part-time intern starting immediately to work remotely on editorial, production and promotion aspects of the site. This is an unpaid internship.
Responsibilities include posting stories and images to the site, making changes to published posts; promoting the site to social media sites and placing items with blogs; and writing short posts related to project management and software
Internship offers opportunity to work with experienced web professionals and to gain first-hand knowledge and skills on growing a Web business.
The ideal candidate has strong writing and reporting skills; experience working with blog tools; know-how with regards to social media; and general enthusiasm for the subject matter. Knowledge of HTML a plus but not necessary to be considered.
This is currently an unpaid internship.

2. Telesales Representative
Location: onsite, office in Berkeley, CA
About Experience in Software:

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new prospects and expand existing accounts
- Prospect calling and Telemarketing is a must!
- Maintain required number of quality outbound calls, and phone time, to customer contacts per day and week
- Generate incremental revenue according to specific targets
- Record accurate customer and lead data to the CRM system
- Provide high level of customer service to ensure client’s complete satisfaction
- Educate prospects on our products and services and manage prospect objections
- Proficiency (or ability to learn quickly) standard corporate tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, CRM, WebEx, etc)
- Conduct in-depth, online, product presentations as needed
Primary Qualifications:
- Effective phone presence and professional, confidence-inspiring personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic with a “whatever it takes” attitude.
- Prior experience in inside sales is a plus. Prior experience in software sales a plus
- College degree preferred
- 0 to 3 years of sales experience, recent graduates are welcomed to apply
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Determination to surpass performance goals
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work individually and can also take direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good listening and strong verbal and written communication skills.
